Tyres
Each automobile must only be fitted with the tyres manufactured by Michelin and supplied by the Australian Michelin Motor Sport distributor, European Technique at all times during a meeting.
Details of the official tyre size and compound permitted for use on each make/model please download here.
- Unless stated otherwise in the event Supplementary or Further Supplementary Regulations, a maximum of six (6) tyres (whether new or previously marked) will be marked for each automobile by the TC at each round of the Championship and these marked tyres are the only tyres permitted to be used on that automobile during any qualifying session or race at that round. Previously marked tyres must be re-marked for the relevant round of the Championship.
- A maximum of eight (8) new tyres may be purchased and used for the first round of the Championship in which an automobile competes.
- The quantity of wet weather tyres permitted is free.
Within one (1) hour from the completion of the final practice session at each round of the Championship, each competitor must present all tyres for marking at the front of their respective garage/paddock bay.
Refer Sporting Regulation S13 for the entire tyre rule.
To order tyres for your vehicle please contact: Trevor Sheumack at European Technique on 0418 548 578.
