Mosler Australia agent and Australian GT Championship competitor John Briggs has announced his immediate retirement from competitive motorsport.
John's decision is as a result of him being recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and his need in the circumstances to fully concentrate his energies on both his health challenges and his family.
Rachael Wagg, Martin Wagg and Terry Little wish John both a full and speedy recovery and would ask all members of the Australian GT family to give up a prayer or have John, Nicky, and Ella in their thoughts at this difficult time.
The Mosler Australian agency will continue to operate through Briggs Motorsport Team Manager Mark Roberts and John's brand new fully prepared 7-litre Mosler MT900 is available for the final round of the 2009 Australian GT Championship to be held at Sydney's Homebush circuit from December 4-6.
