Seeded Drivers
A seeded driver is a driver who, at the sole discretion of AGT, has been included on the list of seeded drivers for the Championship. AGT will consider the experience, previous results and other related information when determining if a driver is to be included in the list of seeded drivers.
Seeded drivers will only be permitted to compete in the Championship, subject to the following:
- The number of seeded drivers permitted to run at any round is 3 except for two driver events where a non-seeded driver and seeded driver can drive together in the same race.
- Seeded drivers are only eligible to compete in the GT Championship division.
- Seeded drivers will be required to run at a different parity level to unseeded drivers.
- Any success ballast weight applied to a seeded driver will remain with the car/driver for the duration of the event i.e it can not be removed if the car/driver finished outside the top 3 in the next race. i.e. if a car/driver comes 3rd in Race 1 and then comes 1st in Race 2 they must apply the ballast weight for 1st place for the remainder of the event
